I'm as well-steeped in the books as I can be (which is to say, without tracking down that missing copy of The Silmarillion or having read Tolkien's Letters or the entire History of the Lord of the Rings yet), but when there's a conflict I'm going with movieverse. Just so you know.
1) Unexpected:
Sam is being pulled in two, while Frodo feels there's nothing left
for him in Middle-Earth. Frodo/Sam, Rosie/Sam, Frodo/Sam/Rosie. Slash
advisory and het warnings abound, but if you can take both of these the eventual
threesome probably won't bother you in the slightest. R/NC-17 WORK IN PROGRESS
2) Not Such Paradise:
Angsty musings in the Undying Lands. Frodo misses Sam. Probable
eventual allusions to smut -- probably no worse than PG-13 or so, though. WORK IN PROGRESS
